“Why Peter Got Married Before Me” – Paul Okoye

 

Paul Okoye and Peter Okoye, the twin brothers who are known as P-Square, are unarguably the hottest musical property in Africa at the moment, and since doing things together comes naturally to them, many had expected they will get married on the same day.

But Peter actually left Paul behind when he got married traditionally to the mother of his two sons, Lola Omotayo, on the 17 of November, 2013.

Asked why he did not also take Anita Isima, his fiancée and mother of his child, to the altar on the same day, Paul unveiled to HipTv that the main reason Peter got married before him was that the two women are from different tribes and they have different traditions and ways of doing things.

“Anita is Igbo while Lola Omotayo is Yoruba. There has to be a traditional marriage in her, (Anita’s) home town while the same applies to Lola. But we might be having a big white wedding together,” Paul said.

We may sure have a big double wedding coming soon.
