It appears Miley Cyrus’s infamous MTV Video Music Awards twerking
has landed her in a not-so-cool position. According to reports, the
20-year old has been axed from the Vogue magazine December issue cover
for which she had been pegged.
With an album out next month, Miley had reportedly been penciled down
as the cover girl for the December issue of uber-chic magazine and
fashion bible,Vogue before the no-nonsense Editor-in-Chief, Anna Wintour
caught wind of her twerk-fest at the recently concluded MTV Video Music
Awards. Anna who is known for her uber-classy approach and unyielding
stand on things reportedly found the performance highly distasteful and
withdrew the issue.
Weeks after Miley’s controversial performance at the MTV Video Music Awards,
the ‘We Can’t Stop’ crooner has continued to generate polarising
reactions with the majority as negative and the latest being Anna’s
not-so-subtle Vogue magazine snub.
Miley has come a long way from her Disney days and seems to be making
a deliberate effort to assert her all-grown status from her raunchy
videos and performances to her drastic fashion make-over.
What do you think? Is Miley going overboard with trying to be
all-grown up and did Anna Wintour do the right thing by taking her off
the Vogue magazine cover?
