Forbes has released the list of the artistes who made the most money between June 2012 and June 2013, and singer Madonna leads the pack with an amazing  $125million.
Madonna’s millions came from the tail end of her MDNA Tour, which grossed $305 million, augmented by heady merchandise sales at concerts, as well as her Material Girl clothing line and Truth or Dare fragrance.
Lady GaGa is a little off the pace from Madge, grossing $80million which should have been much more had she not had to cancel her tour due to hip problems.
Ironically, the number 1 singer on the list should be Michael Jackson who made $160 million, but the Forbes criteria excludes dead artistes.
